Woodham Walter Scarecrow Walk
Monday 5th to Friday 9th October 2026
Join the Harvest Festival celebrations and help raise funds for the village school, hall and church.
How it works
Build and display a Scarecrow outside your property from Monday 5th October.
Buy a map of the participating Scarecrows so they can be viewed through the village.
Judging will take place on Friday 9th October with winners to be announced at a community event at Woodham Walter Primary School at 3pm. Crafts, refreshments and games for all to enjoy.
How to join in
£5 to enter a scarecrow - please purchase an appropriate 'ticket' and provide the following details via email to events@woodhamwaltervillagehall.co.uk

By entering you agree to have your Scarecrow featured on a Scarecrow Walk Map.
£1 to receive a Scarecrow Walk Map - please purchase a map 'ticket. This will be emailed on Monday 5th October.
If you would prefer to host a Scarecrow made by the school children please provide your contact details to events@woodhamwaltervillagehall.co.uk and we will be in touch.
